We became friends about 12 years ago when
we met during a "Mommy and Me" play group. Our oldest daughters were just infants at the time. Once our youngest
daughters entered elementary school we both decided to explore our creative sides.
Jewelry making was an art form that appealed to both of us, so we
decided to take a class. We were instantly hooked. The best part was coming
up with our own original designs. As we continued to explore our passion for jewelry making, we found
a special love for wire wrapped pendants; teaching ourselves along the way. Each piece is truly an elegant work
of art.
In the beginning, we gave our jewelry creations as gifts to our friends
and family. They loved our jewelry so much and would rave about it,
so that is when we decided to take our hobby to the next level. This is when Avani Originals was born. "Avani" is a Native American word meaning "from the Earth." All
of our beads are of the utmost quality, including Sterling Silver and Gemstones. Our desire for perfection makes
each piece not only one of a kind, but one that can be worn with pride.
